Quaint little joint at the visitor center. Great food and service with good coffee. Was open early so a good place to stop and eat for breakfast
Hands down the best early morning coffee in Roma. Friendly service, a lovely rich chocolate bean. Bec's Chopping Board is a bit of a hidden secret tucked in behind the Visitor Centre at Big Rig.
I recently did a Wildflower Wonderland tour with Boobook Tours, and our guide mentioned that Beck’s Chopping Board supplied our morning tea and lunch. The meals were fresh, and generous in their serving size. I can’t comment on the price, as that was part of the cost of the tour, but the food was excellent.
The photos should paint the picture, But just incase it's unclear. Go here when in roma, just do yourself a favour and enjoy it...because it's absolutely fantastic

Stopped here on the way to Carnarvon Gorge, the locals told us it was the best coffee in town, and they weren’t lying. On the way back, we popped in for a burger and it was literally the size of my head. Friendly staff made the stop even better. But the real star? The melting moments. We stocked up before we left and, honestly, I’d consider a six-hour drive just to get more.
The best eggs Benny in Roma? That’s what she said and she was right. WOW the half size is huge and the full size is well check the photo. Becks is actually in the Big Rig building and is open for breakfast and lunch. Our breakfast was beautiful and so tasty with excellent coffee, what more could you ask for in outback Qld. Yes completed with awesome service with a smile.
Halal Meat , From breakfast to Burgers . Hands down to the best Cafe in Roma! Specially Egg Benedict, Cheese burger , Coffee . Everything is good
Brought three breakfasts it was very delicious. Presentation was unexpected for a small country town in Australia. Additionally, unknown to staff I observed the inter relationships amongst the staff. They obviously enjoy each other while working. Rarking each other up and having a good laugh at each others expense. The entertainment was just as good as the food.
